The Jason McCartney Medal was a perpetual medal honouring Bali bombing survivor and former Australian rules football star Jason McCartney.[1]

From 2003 to 2009, the Jason McCartney Medal had been presented to the player voted the most courageous performer during clashes between the North Melbourne and Collingwood Football Clubs in the Australian Football League.

Between seasons 2010 to 2012, no medal was awarded after any of the matches between the two clubs.

In 2013, the medal was awarded after the two clubs played in round 1.
