Jason Walker is an American house, pop and soul recording artist.

Jason Walker is an American Soul, Pop, and House Music Artist. After turning out a winning performance on the legendary TV show, "It's Show Time At The Apollo", Walker made the move to New York City where he was almost immediately discovered by and signed to dance music legend, Junior Vasquez's JVM record label. Over the next 5 years Walker released 2 full length albums, "This Is My Life" and Flexible" on the JVM imprint, garnering 6 Top 30 Billboard Club Play hits, "My Life" #3, "Foolish Mind Games" #1, "Set It Free" #1, "No More" #5, "Movin' On" #7, and "I Can't Get You Off My Mind" #26. The later also reached #1 Music Video status on LOGO's "The Click List" 5 separate times over a 5 month period. The video was shot by Karl Giant (Cyndi Lauper, Ultra Nate, The One's). Aside from taking the Billboard Dance Chart by storm from 2004–2008, Walker also received 2 IDMA (International Dance Music Award) nominations, one for Breakthrough Dance Artist and a year later for Best House/Garage Track for "Can't Stop" his collaboration with famed DJ/Producer Quentin Harris. That track was featured both on Walker's sophmore JVM release "Flexible" as well as Harris's Strictly Rhythm release, "No Politics."

In 2008 Walker left JVM and achieved "Indie Artist" status by throwing a curve-ball to his loyal dance following by Independently producing, writing, and releasing his third full length album, "Leave It All Behind" in 2010. The album was a labor of love and according to Walker the album, "...came from the heart". The record consisted of Acoustic Soul and piano driven ballads as well a a couple of "danceable" tracks. Walker wrote many of the songs himself, and also collaborated with New York songwriter, Rami Ramirez, who played a major role in the recording process. Jeeve, The Good Villians, and Chris Rodriguez (aka C Rod) also contributed tracks. Walker also racked up his 7th Top 20 Billboard Dance hit with the title track, "Leave It All Behind", bowing at #15 on the dance chart. Another Walker backed up the album with live shows across the US. Sirius radio personality and industry insider, Larry Flick, was a huge supporter of Jason in 2010 and his album "Leave It All Behind", having Jason on his radio show 3 different times. Another music video was shot by Karl Giant, this time for the ballad "The Song In My Heart".

In June 2011 Walker released "Live and Unplugged, the 6th Ave. Sessions" a live recording of 5 songs taken from the album "Leave It All Behind". "Sessions" was the result of a recorded rehearsal of Walker and Ramirez in the fall of 2010 in a studio in NYC. Walker was adamant that no editing or auto tune be used, only mastering. He wanted it to have a very organic feel, which was the result, only piano and vocal, and one live band track.

January 2012 will see the release of "Raise Your Hands" and a return to clubland for Walker. Written by C Rod and recorded in Miami it will have remixes by Joe Caranno, Chad Jack, Funk3d, Tyler Nelson, C Rod, Chris "The Greek", and Gustavo Scorpio.

Walker is also in the midst of writing and recording his next Pop album, already recording tracks with Jeeve (producer of the song "Leave It All Behind") in Los Angeles, and Corey Congilio (producer of "I am Changing" and "Coco Te Llamas). Look for that release in 2012 as well.

Walker is often confused with the "Down" and "Echo" singer of the same name who has had music featured in popular television shows, but are clearly two different artists. When asked if the confusion is upsetting, Walker replied, "....I really like his music, the other Jason Walker. "Down" is an amazing song. He is a great singer and a great writer. I would love to meet him someday.....who knows, maybe a "The Jason Walker's Tour" could happen....."
