Jay Anthony Franke (born May 17, 1972 in Leonardtown, Maryland) is an actor and voice actor, best known for voicing JC Denton and Paul Denton from the video game Deus Ex. He was also one of the stars of the NBC show California Dreams in which he played "Jake Sommers", the tough, leather-clad lead guitarist.
He is a musician who played his own guitar during the musical scenes on the show. He has studied ballet and he writes. In addition to the role in California Dreams, he has acted on General Hospital, Married... with Children and the 1991 TV movie Earth Angel.
Franke married his wife Tracey in her hometown of Melbourne on January 25, 2009.
Franke created a Pilot and his wife Tracey produced it.
On March 4, 2010, Franke and the rest of the California Dreams cast reunited on the Jimmy Fallon show.
Franke is a quality assurance engineer. Franke is hoping to start acting again in both America and Australia.
