Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash is a comic and novelty store owned by filmmaker Kevin Smith. Merchandise includes comic books, comic-related merchandise, and View Askew film-related items (e.g., apparel, action figures, posters, etc.). Currently, the store can be found at 35 Broad Street in Red Bank, New Jersey. The store is run by Smith's long time friend Walt Flanagan.
The podcast Tell 'Em Steve-Dave! is recorded at the Stash.

Smith bought a comic book store called Comicology in January 1997 for $30,000 after the previous owner moved abroad. The store received not only local visitors but started getting visitors from all over the world. Smith decided to move the store to a bigger location to make it worth travelling for. After two years the store was moved to its current location 35 Broad Street in Red Bank, New Jersey.[1]

The Stash has been a notable location for owner Kevin Smith to shoot scenes for some of his View Askew films. It first appeared (while still known as Comicology) in a deleted scene from Chasing Amy as Steve-Dave and Walt's comic book store.
It saw more prominence in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back as Brodie's Secret Stash, a comic store owned by Mallrats character Brodie Bruce (Jason Lee).
Additionally, many props from Smith's films are on display at the Stash (most notably the "Buddy Christ" statue from Dogma and the "Bluntman and Chronic" props from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back). Though not for sale, visitors are permitted to snap photographs of the memorabilia.

Kevin Smith announced that AMC is filming a pilot that revolves around Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash. They announced a casting call for someone to play off of Walt, Ming, Mike and Bryan. They were casting for someone unique and preferably a woman.[2]
AMC decided to pick up the show to follow The Walking Dead. The working title was Secret Stash,[3] but ultimately set as Comic Book Men. The show premiered on February 12, 2012.[4]
[edit] Secret Stash in Los Angeles
A second Secret Stash in the Westwood area of Los Angeles was opened in September 2004 and was managed by long-time associate Bryan Johnson, who has appeared in Smith's films as Steve-Dave.[5] It closed on October 10, 2007. The store relocated inside the Laser Blazer DVD retailer in Los Angeles, California.[6] The Stash at Laser Blazer closed on January 11, 2009. Laser Blazer remained open and used the area for Blu-Ray discs.[7][8]
