Jean Claude Marie Vincent de Gournay (28 May 1712, Saint-Malo - 27 June 1759, Cádiz) was a French economist and intendant of commerce, one of the creators of the laissez faire, laissez passer economic philosophy. Together with François Quesnay he headed the Physiocratic School.
