Jennie Elizabeth Eisenhower (born August 15, 1978) is an American actress. She has performed in a number of theater productions and had minor roles in some feature films. She is the daughter of Julie Nixon Eisenhower and David Eisenhower. She is the granddaughter of former U.S. President Richard Nixon and former First Lady Pat Nixon and the great-granddaughter of former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower and former First Lady Mamie Eisenhower.
Eisenhower is the elder daughter of Julie Nixon Eisenhower and David Eisenhower. She is the granddaughter of former U.S. President Richard M. Nixon through her mother, and the great-granddaughter of former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower through her father. She was born in San Clemente, Orange County, California, spent her childhood in Valley Forge, Chester County, a suburb of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She has one brother, Alex Richard Eisenhower (b. 1980), and one sister, Melanie Catherine Eisenhower (b. 1984). She is married and has one daughter, Chloe.
Eisenhower is an American stage and film actress. On stage, she has performed Off-Broadway and at regional theaters across the United States. She is currently based in Philadelphia, where she has won two Barrymore Awards: Best Actress in a Musical (2009) for Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits, and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (2004) for The Wild Party. She has also been nominated for Barrymore Awards for her work in Parade at the Arden Theatre, Show Boat at the Media Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Theatre Horizon in Norristown, Little Women at Bristol Riverside Theatre and A Grand Night for Singing at the Walnut Street Theatre. She has small roles in the films Mona Lisa Smile, Arthur, and The Suspect.
