Jenny Gerbasi born in 1962 is a City Councillor in the Fort Rouge - East Fort Garry in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was first elected in 1998 and subsequently reelected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. She is a registered nurse and taught at the University of Manitoba. Gerbasi chairs the Access Advisory Committee, which brought forward Canada’s first Universal Design Policy and is the first woman to chair the Historic Buildings Committee.

Gerbasi has been a critic of Mayor Sam Katz for, among other things, revising Winnipeg's 2008 operating budget six days before a city council vote on the matter.[1]

She has also won a council debate that asks the provincial government to create stronger conflict-of-interest guidelines in response to the Riverside Park Management debate.[2]
