Cody James Asche (born June 30, 1990) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Asche attended the University of Nebraska, where he played college baseball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.[1] The Phillies drafted Asche in the fourth round of the 2011 MLB Draft.[2] Moved to second base, Asche struggled with the Williamsport Crosscutters of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League, batting .192. Moved back to third base, Asche hit .349 with the Clearwater Threshers of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League and was promoted to the Reading Phillies of the Class AA Eastern League, where he batted .300. The Phillies assigned Asche to the Arizona Fall League after the season for further development, and he played in the league's all-star game.[3]

Brody Edward Colvin (born August 14, 1990 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. MLB.com rated Colvin as the 80th best prospect in baseball before the 2012 season.[4]

Brandon Edward Erbe (born December 25, 1987 in Owings Mills, Maryland, United States) is a baseball pitcher who was once on the Baltimore Orioles 40-man roster.


Erbe appeared on the NBC Show The Biggest Loser, as help to one of the child competitors, Biingo, who is a fan of his original High-A team of the Baltimore Orioles, the Frederick Keys

Cesar Augusto Hernandez (born May 23, 1990 in Valencia, Venezuela) is a minor league baseball second baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Hernandez began his professional career in 2007, playing for the VSL Phillies. That year, he hit .276 in 54 games. In the Venezuelan Summer League again in 2008, Hernandez hit .315 with 19 stolen bases in 60 games. He played for the GCL Phillies in 2009, hitting .267 with 13 stolen bases in 41 games. In 2010, Hernandez hit .325 with 32 stolen bases in 65 games for the Williamsport Crosscutters.[5]

Ethan Cash Martin (born June 6, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Martin was drafted in the 1st round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He began his career with the Great Lakes Loons in 2009, when he was 6-8 with a 3.87 ERA in 27 games (19 starts). In 2010 with the Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino he was 9-14 with a 6.35 ERA in 25 appearances (22 starts). He began 2011 in the starting rotation for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes but was moved to the bullpen in midseason and then promoted to Double-A with the Chattanooga Lookouts. Combined he was 9-7 with a 5.95 ERA in 37 appearances (12 starts) in 2011. In 2012 with the Lookouts, he was 8-6 with a 3.58 ERA and selected to the mid-season Southern League all-star team.[6]

On July 31st, 2012 Martin was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies along with Josh Lindblom for Shane Victorino.[7]

Jermaine Cornelius Mitchell (born November 2, 1984) is an outfielder.

Mitchell was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the fifth round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft out of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.[8]

Mitchell was added to the Athletics' 40-man roster on November 18, 2011.[9] Prior to the 2012 season, Baseball America ranked him as the A's seventh best prospect.[10]

After a disappointing 2012 season the Athletics allowed Mitchell to become a free agent, and he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies for 2013.

Colton Murray is a right-handed relief pitcher for the MLB's Philadelphia Phillies Class A affiliate, the Williamsport Crosscutters. Murray signed with the team after being selected in the 13th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.

Murray attended Olathe East High School in Olathe, Kansas, where he lettered three years in baseball for coach John McDonald. He was a two-time All-State selection in 2007 and 2008, and was named Kansas Pitcher of the Year in 2007. As a senior, he went 5-1 with a 1.55 ERA, striking out 50 hitters in 31 2/3 innings. He also hit .481 with three home runs.

Murray went on to play at the University of Kansas, where as a freshman in 2009 he went 2-3 with an ERA of 3.23, and also striking out 39 batters in 39 innings pitched. In his sophomore year in 2010, he posted a record of 1-2 with an ERA of 4.83 in 27 appearances, recording 36 strikeouts and four saves, also earning Academic All-Big 12 honors.[11] As a junior in 2011, he went 3-4 with an ERA of 3.79 and seven saves in 20 appearances, recording 33 strikeouts.

Murray played for the Pittsfield American Defenders in summer 2009, posting a record of 1-1 and an ERA of 3.27 in 10 appearances, recording 16 strikeouts and only 3 walks as well. In summer 2010, he played for the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod League with a record of 1-1 and an ERA of 0.49, also recording 8 saves in 18 appearances. Named a Top 30 Prospect in the league by ESPN's Keith Law.
