Jesús María 'Chus' Herrero Gómez (born 10 February 1984 in Zaragoza, Aragon) is a Spanish footballer who plays for FC Cartagena as a defender.
[edit] Football career
A product of Real Zaragoza's youth academy, Herrero made his debut with the first team on 30 October 2005, playing the entire match in a 1–1 home draw against Málaga CF, but spent the vast majority of the season playing with the Aragonese's B side.
From 2006–08, he appeared in ten La Liga contests each, as Zaragoza was relegated in the second year. He contributed more significantly to help the club return to the top flight after just one year, but would be released in July 2009, moving to FC Cartagena (freshly promoted to the second division).
