Marceau grew up in Virginia Beach in a conservative Christian family. She started appearing in girl-girl adult films under the pseudonym "Scarlett Fever" at age 20. She later changed it to "Jewell Marceau" when she began working with Harmony Concepts as they found her original name to be "a little too 'slutty.'"[2]
Jewell has appeared in over 180 hardcore pornographic movies, mostly with bondage and fetish themes, and been featured in a number of fetish adult magazines, such as Marquis (Germany) and Skin Two (UK) (including the 2006 Directory cover, although hooded [3]).
