Jimmy Brown was a Belfast member of the Irish Republican Socialist Party (IRSP), the Irish National Liberation Army (INLA), and the Irish People's Liberation Organisation (IPLO).[1][2].
Jimmy Brown left the IRSP in the mid-eighties to join up with the IPLO. He was the leader of the Republican Socialist Collective, which was set up as the political wing of the IPLO.
Brown was gunned down in a dispute between factions of the IPLO. It was ended by the Provisional IRA in 1992.[3]
