João Carlos Nogueira Amorim (born 11 February 1992) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for C.D. Aves as a midfielder.

Club career[edit]

Born in Espinho, Amorim joined F.C. Porto's youth system in 2003, aged 11. He was not given a professional contract after he turned 19, so he signed for Gondomar S.C. in the third division, where he made his senior debuts.

In February 2012 Amorim joined S.L. Benfica, with the deal being made effective in July.[1] He was immediately loaned to C.D. Trofense in the second level,[2] a move repeated in the following season[3] even though he was eventually called back to Benfica B in December 2013.[4]

On 27 January 2015, Benfica announced that Amorim had signed with second tier club C.D. Aves.[5]
