Joe Vitale is an American certified Metaphysical practitioner [1], a certified Chi Kung healer, an ordained minister, a certified hypnotherapist and an author of self-help books. His titles include Expect Miracles (2008), The Attractor Factor: 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (Or Anything Else) From The Inside Out (2008), and The Key: The Missing Secret for Attracting Anything You Want (2007).

He has appeared in the movie The Secret, on CNN's Larry King Live program and Extra TV. He was also featured in a Newsweek interview on The Secret, and The New York Post wrote an article for one of his P.T. Barnum-esque publicity stunts: "The Canine Concert."

He is also involved with several Internet Marketing companies which he either owns or is affiliated with, such as Nightingale Conant, a prominent personal development corporation. He was also the keynote speaker at the 2007 National Speakers Association annual convention.[2]

Joe Vitale attended Niles McKinley High School in Ohio. After graduation he attended Kent State University, majoring in public relations and journalism, but failed to graduate. He holds a doctorate in metaphysical science. He received this degree from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona,[3] that offers non-secular Ministerial higher education in Holistic, New Thought Metaphysics and Holistic Ministry. He was awarded an honorary doctorate, based on his books, from Belford University,[3] which offers unaccredited degrees.
