Joseph Stephen "Joey" Gaydos Jr. (born April 18, 1991) is an American musician and one-time actor from Dearborn, Michigan. He is best known for his portrayal of Zack Mooneyham in School of Rock.

Favoring the Gibson Les Paul[1] and a blues/rock style, Gaydos formed a trio named The Joey Gaydos Group in 2005. They released their debut album in July 2006. Gaydos made his film debut in 2003 in the musical comedy School of Rock playing Zack Mooneyham.

Gaydos attended Huron High School in New Boston, Michigan. In 2009, he was arrested in Michigan for driving while intoxicated. He later issued an apology to his fans.[2]
