Johann Rudolf Pfyffer von Altishofen (1615?-17 May 1657) was the Commander of the Swiss Guard from 1652 to 1657 protecting Popes Innocent X and Alexander VII at the Vatican.
He was the suspected illegitimate son of Pope Innocent X and died supposedly of dysentery; his death is considered to be suspicious.
