John Collins (born c.1969 Chapel Hill, North Carolina) is an American director and designer of experimental theatre from New York City.
A native of Vidalia, Georgia; he and graduated from Yale University in 1991, cum laude.
He is founder and artistic director of Elevator Repair Service theatre, a New York-based theatre ensemble. He has also worked as a sound designer for the Wooster Group. John is also a private pilot.
