John H Howard (born 1940) is a British painter and illustrator. He graduated from Camberwell School of Art. He started his career in London and moved to New York where he began illustrating for advertising, book publishers and magazines. His clients include Global Crossing and Hewlett Packard. He has won awards from the Society of Illustrators, NYC and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.(SILA). He has taught at the Pratt Institute. He is represented by the Kim Foster Gallery.[1]

His work is in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress and The Smithsonian.[1]
