John Morton (born May 18, 1967, in The Bronx, New York City) is a retired American professional basketball player in the NBA. He played collegiately for Seton Hall University from 1985 to 1989. Picked in the first round of the 1989 NBA Draft, the 6′3″ (1.90 m) and 180 pounds (82 kg) guard played for only three NBA seasons (1990–1992) for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat averaging 4.8, 1.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
