John Ryan (born 1 May 1950)[1] is a pioneer of the cosmetic surgery business in the United Kingdom and the current chairman of Doncaster Rovers.

Before launching MYA (Make Yourself Amazing), he owned Europe’s largest cosmetic surgery company. He transformed the small mid 1970’s business into a multimillion pound company.[citation needed]

His clinics have been responsible for over 100,000 cosmetic surgery procedures.[citation needed] He was also of the reality television show The Clinic which gave an insight into cosmetic surgery.[citation needed]

In 2002, Ryan sold his company.[citation needed] As the owner and Chairman, this break allowed him to focus on Doncaster Rovers. He is now involved in cosmetic surgery again.[citation needed] John has written an autobiography "Dare To Dream" which has been on sale since February 2010.

Ryan entered the The Guinness Book of Records as the oldest footballer of all time when he came on as a substitute in the 89th minute for Doncaster Rovers against Hereford United in a Conference National match on 26 April 2003, at age 52 years and 11 months.[2][3] He was allocated the number 28.[4]
