Musical career[edit]

My My Misfire (2008)[edit]

In 2008, Kintz played guitar for Minnesota-based band, My My Misfire. He left for unknown reasons after a few months with the band. He appeared in the band's first music video, "Mississippi Shallow", playing guitar, in fall of 2008.[2]

Kintz was also the guitarist and backing vocalist of post-hardcore band of Mice & Men. Kintz was not in the band for very long, and was soon replaced by Shayley Bourget. When Bourget was asked about what happened to Kintz, he answered jokingly with "Jon didn't cut it", and no other word has been said on his departure.[3]

Me Versus the Moon (later 2009–present)[edit]

Kintz has since started a metalcore solo project, called Me Versus the Moon. He has posted one song to his MySpace, entitled "Our Bloodbath Ballet".
