José Manuel Serrano Arenas (born March 17, 1981 in Seville, Andalusia) is a Spanish football defender, who currently plays for Rayo Vallecano.
After playing four years with Sevilla FC's B-team, without any first-team appearances, Serrano played one season with neighbouring side Xerez CD (second division), and then switched to Levante UD.
After playing mostly with the reserves, Serrano would make his first-team (and top flight) debut aged almost 26, in a 4–2 home defeat to Sevilla, on January 28, 2007. The following season, he netted in a 1–5 home loss to Valencia CF, as Levante was already relegated.
In 2008–09, Serrano joined Madrid's Rayo Vallecano, freshly returned to the second level.
