José Luis Paniagua Sánchez (born August 20, 1973 in San José de Ocoa, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher who had his most prominent years with the Seattle Mariners organization. His most recent major league stint consisted of one game with the Chicago White Sox in 2003. As a member of the Chicago White Sox, Paniagua came in with a 6 run lead in the ninth inning. He proceeded to give up 4 earned runs on 3 hits and a walk in 1/3 of an inning. He then was pulled from the game by manager Jerry Manuel, walked towards the dugout and flipped off the umpire. He has an E.R.A of 108.00 with the White Sox. Paniagua split 2008 between the St. George RoadRunners of the Golden Baseball League and the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
