Juan Antonio Marín

Juan Antonio Marín (born March 2, 1975 in San José, Costa Rica) is a former professional male tennis player from Costa Rica. He turned pro in 1996.
On October 11, 1999, Marín reached his career-high singles ranking: World No. 55. Previously in that year he played against Pete Sampras at 1999 French Open 1st round, a five sets match, and despite he lost, it was a very tight match 6-75, 6-4, 7-5, 6-79, 6-4.
