Julie Homi, born in London, England and raised in the American midwest, is a classically-trained pianist/keyboardist who has toured with Robert Palmer, Martin Page, Maria Muldaur, Angela Bofill, Kalani, Tracy Chapman, Shirley Bassey, Peter Cetera, Holly Near, and Yanni for whom she performed during his Dare to Dream, Yanni Live the Symphony Concerts 1993 and 1994 concert tours, and appears on the Yanni Live at the Acropolis video and CD.[1] She played keyboards on the national tour of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby and the San Francisco engagements of The Lion King and Mamma Mia!. She was also music director and keyboardist for Menopause the Musical.[2][3]
She leads an original jazz quintet called Homiopathy featuring guitarist Barry Finnerty (Miles Davis, Brecker Brothers.) She holds a Masters in music composition from Mills College in Oakland, CA.
