Julie Marie Berman (born November 3, 1983) is an American actress best known for her role as Lulu Spencer on the ABC Daytime soap opera , which she played from 2005 to 2013. General Hospital
s Angeles, California]] to Peter and Renée Berman. She started acting at the age of 6. Early in her career, Berman appeared in over 100 different commercials. She made her breakthrough passage into television on the hit show
as the misunderstood Shelby Connor, a friend of Lucy Camden. Berman continued her role on 7th Heaven 7th Heaven, while simultaneously adding a recurring role on . Once and Again Julie's mother Renee died of cancer in 1998. [1 ]
Berman joined the ABC soap
in October 2005 as General Hospital Lulu Spencer, the stubborn, troubled daughter of Luke & Laura. She earned her first Daytime Emmy nomination in 2007, and won her first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2009. She won her second consecutive Emmy in 2010 in the same category. Berman departed her role as Lulu in 2013, and was replaced by [2 ] actress The Young and the Restless Emme Rylan In 2013, Berman won her third Emmy, but in the [3 ] Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress category.

In addition to her acting career, she also received a degree in Television & Cinema from the
University of Southern California in May 2006. While at the university she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. [4 ]
Berman married her boyfriend of three years, commercial real estate broker Michael Grady, on August 15, 2008 in a Roman Catholic ceremony in the Sacred Heart Chapel at Los Angeles'
Loyola Marymount University.
