KGED is a radio station located in the Fresno, California area and broadcasts on the AM dial at 1680 kHz. The station is owned by RAK Communications, Inc. This station first signed on the air in 1998 (as KAVT).

[edit] History

Starting in March 2008, KGED previously carried an Adult Standards format provided by Dial Global. At its inception in 1998, the station was a Radio Disney affiliate known as KAVT.

The Adult Standards format was replaced in September 2008 by a Spanish religious format.[1]

In October of 2011, KGED 1680 re-launched with a Christian Talk Radio format including local and nationally syndicated talk radio personalities.
