No suitable buyers were found. On December 14, 2007 The FCC approved a call letter change to KQQX, as well as a construction permit for the station to move to Hermann, Missouri.

Pursuant to FCC regulations, KQQX plans to build a new tower and 33,000 watt transmitter in Hermann, MO. This move should better serve the West suburban area of St. Louis. The new transmitter will broadcast the station from Columbia to St. Louis, as well as from Hannibal to Steeleville. Currently the owners are looking for an investment partner to help carry out this plan.
