KNUU (970 AM) is the business and financial radio station for the Las Vegas Valley.[1]

Imus in the Morning starts the Las Vegas morning drive time line up from 3am to 9am along with local news, traffic and weather with Andy Vierra. International and national news comes from the ABC and CNN newscasts. The latest financial reports and the opening stock market prepares listeners for the series of financial talk shows that begin at 9am and continue through the day.

Other featured personalities include Ray Lucia, Phil Grande, Don Imus and Andy Vierra.

KNUU is owned by the Blue Star Media Group Inc.[2] The company also owns the Business Talk Radio Network and the Lifestyle Talk Radio Network. The networks have more than 1,400 affiliates from coast to coast.

[edit] History

Originally an affiliate with the CBS Radio network, KNUU is now affiliated with ABC & CNN Radio news networks. The station originally went on the air in the mid-1970s, and broadcast all-news between 6 AM and Sunset every day. By the mid 1980s, the station received a permit to broadcast 24 hours a day.
