KTVJ-LP is a television station in Petaluma, California, broadcasting locally on channel 4 (virtual channel 39) as an independent station. Founded November 20, 2001, the station did not appear on the air until July 26, 2004. The station is owned by Fiori Media.
KTVJ previously shared the same frequency with KICU-TV in San Jose. While KTVJ mainly served the Santa Rosa area and communities to the west, some interference did occur in Sonoma County, preventing viewers from viewing programming on KICU. After the digital transition, KICU planned to relocate from channel 52 back to channel 36 with additional power. As a result, KTVJ was no longer be able to operate on channel 36 and needed to relocate to a different channel. On May 8, 2014, the station was issued a license to broadcast on channel 4 from Petaluma.
