KHKR (1210 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Washington, Utah, USA, the station is currently owned by Cherry Creek Radio.[1]

KHKR has applied for an FCC construction permit to move to a new transmitter site and decrease night power to 231 watts.


The station went on the air as KCLG on February 1, 1982. On May 5, 1987, the station changed its call sign to KONY. On September 9, 1999, the station became KUNF, and then the current KHKR on July 11, 2013.[2]

The station is the current home of the Golden Baseball League's St. George RoadRunners with John Potter on the play-by-play.

Along with John Potter, the station also has several local talent and sports announcers including the Morning Show with Andy Griffin and "The Drive" with Devin Dixon. Andy Griffin, Devin Dixon, and Mike McGary all cover the local Region 9 Sports teams. This includes local football and basketball teams seasons.
