KURS 1040am is an Regional Mexican radio station in San Diego, California. It flipped to its current format last month. the station is owned by Quetzal Bilingual Communications Inc.

Before KURS-AM was a Urban Contemporary Gospel radio station, the station used to air an oldies format known as Kool 1040. The Oldies format has since moved to FM on 105.7, The Walrus. As of today the station has changed to a spanish radio station. broadcasting a Spanish Oldies music format.
