Before KURS-AM was a Urban Contemporary Gospel radio station, the station used to air an oldies format known as Kool 1040. The Oldies format has since moved to FM on 105.7, The Walrus. As of today the station has changed to a spanish radio station. broadcasting a Spanish Oldies music format.
