KWOA is a radio station located in Worthington, Minnesota, USA, which broadcasts a news/talk format in the daytime hours and adult standards music from the Music of Your Life network at night.
KWOA has had several formats over the years.[vague] It was an MOR formatted station after television signals reached its coverage area. During most of the 1970s it had a country format and since the middle of the 1980s it has had a talk format.
In April of 2013, its transmitting tower was toppled by an ice storm. The station stayes on the air using a longwire antenna to provide valuable storm related information to its listeners [1]
