Kabbe is a constituency in the Caprivi Region of Namibia. Most of the area is situated in the flood area of the Zambezi. It contains the former German colonial residence of Schuckmannsburg, as well as several other villages. Its population is 14,979.[1]

In the 2004 presidential election, Kabbe voted overwhelmingly for Hifikepunye Pohamba of Swapo party. Pohamba won with 3764 (96%) votes, with Ben Ulenga of the Congress of Democrats receiving 82 (2%) of the Constituency's votes.[2]

[edit] Sitebule Village

Sitebule village is a village in Namibia found in the eastern part of Caprivi region, kabbe constituency in the Ikaba area. The village was found in 1930 by the late Mwita, after he moved from chief Chika-Matondo in Ikaba village. Sitebule village is headed by a village headman named Mwita Leonard Mundia. The village has around 500 residents, but now they mostly reside in different cities where they are employed but they come back home for holidays. People in sitebule live by practicing communal farming by taking a part in both cattle and crop farming to earn a living. People from sitebule village are mostly family members living together in hamorny.

The village is boardered by 2 rivers known as Kasaya river on the easten side and Mpukano river on the western side. Parents from sitebule village are known for there hardworking abilities transforming there economic hardships to a better livelihood. During floods people use canoes as a form of transportation. Floods are not scene as disasters but a form of a time of income generation as people catch fish to sell and eat.

People from Sitebule village are immensely contributing to the Namibian Education as the village has produced multiple skilled people consisting of Soldiers,Pastors,Doctors,Computer scientists, Nurses, Teachers, Geologists, Adimistrators, Programmers,e.c.t. The village has also contributed to the National Football Team the brave Warrior of Namibia producing a player called Alfred "kayo" Munyaza. Other footballers have also played in Namibia's Premier league and National first Division.
