Calanshio Sand Sea

The Calanshio Sand Sea is located in the Saharan Libyan Desert, of the Kufra District in Cyrenaica, eastern Libya. [1]
This and the Egyptian and Ribiana Sand Seas contains dunes up to 110m in height and cover ~25% of the Libyan Desert. The dunes were created by the wind.
The Calanshio Sand Sea is the site of the missing World War II B-24 Liberator "Lady Be Good".
