Kalin Olson, born December 29, 1975, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is an American glamour model and actress. After being voted as the girl most likely to be a model in her high school class she entered a bikini contest and won. Spurred by her success she entered the Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant (which she also won) and she was spotted by Playboy magazine, and then chosen as the Playmate of the Month in August 1997. Her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag.
Described by Playboy as having an Olympian figure, Kalin has also appeared in several Playboy videos and special editions, working steadily for Playboy as a model for more than three years following her centerfold appearance.
Kalin modeled for Hawaiian Tropic in the late 1990s and was seen again in a Playboy "Girls of Hawaiian Tropic" pictorial in July 1999. In addition to her work for Playboy, she has also posed nude for Perfect 10.
Kalin is a founding member of the Playboy Xtreme Team, a group of Playmates who venture into the world of extreme adventure racing. Kalin was a member of the four-person team, together with Playmates Jennifer Lavoie and Danelle Folta and United States Marine Corps Captain Owen West, sponsored by Playboy that completed the 2000 Eco-Challenge in Borneo. Kalin was also a member of the four-person team sponsored by Playboy that competed in, but failed to finish, the 2002 Eco-Challenge in Fiji.
As of September 2008, Kalin resides in Germany with her husband, professional hockey player Pascal Trepanier, and their two sons.
