Kanebo Ltd.

Kanebo, Ltd. (カネボウ株式会社 Kanebō Kabushiki-gaisha) had been a Japanese manufacturer of textiles, cosmetics and so on until 2007. It was originally established in 1887.[1]
In 2004, Kanebo transfers cosmetics business to Kanebo COSMETICS INC., a unit of Kao Corporation since 2006.
Now 2008, food business, medicine business and daily necessities business are succeeded to a unit of Kracie Holdings, Ltd.
Kanebo dissolved and changed name to Kaigan Bell Management, Ltd. at June 30, 2007. Now 2008, It is a corporation under liquidation.
It is famous among the expatriate community in Japan for its wonderfully inspiring tag line, "For beautiful human life", one of the finest examples of Japanese corporate English ever known.
