Kapan, Nepal is a village in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4567 and had 833 households in it. Kapan Sangeet Sarowar (a platform for musicians), Kopan Monastery (Buddhist temple) etc. are tourist places situated at Kapan.
