Kappadu is a village in Kottayam district, Kerala, India.
Kappadu is 6 km from Kanjirappally, situated between Kanjirappally and Erattupetta. Agriculture is the main source of income. Rubber, coffee,and tapiocca are cultivated here. The Parish of Kappadu, Holy Cross Church is one of the recent pilgrimage in Kanjirappally Diocese with having the relics of very holy "Cross". It includes the regions of Thumpamada, Vandanamala, Moozhikkadu, Maanjukkulam, 3rd mile, Kozhiyaani etc. Here majority of the people are of Christians and Hindus. Also Kappadu may be the place having the most number of monastories namely CMI Study Center, Benedictan Ashram,Jyothi Bhavan, Aaradhana Convent etc. Main cultivation being the Rubber and the term "Achayans" is being used for the planters here.
