The Kartvelian peoples are the ethno-linguistic groups of speakers of Kartvelian languages. "A Kartvelian people" may refer to:

The Svans and the Mingrelians, and the Lazs of Georgia are today commonly thought to be subgroups of the Georgians, and the term Kartvelian peoples is obsolescent (to refer to the modern-day peoples).[citation needed]
