Kate Lang Johnson (born September 7, 1984) is an American actress and model. She has acted in the feature films The Campaign, Fired Up, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, and A Leading Man. She has also guest starred on television shows such as Scandal,Two and a Half Men, Life and ER. She was a series regular on the NBC miniseries Persons Unknown. She appeared in season three of the series Necessary Roughness under her married name of Kate Miner.

Early life and acting career[edit]

Kate was born Kathrine Johnson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is most widely known for her roles on USA's Necessary Roughness and the NBC miniseries Persons Unknown. She has guest starred on many shows: Two and a Half Men, Scandal, CSI: New York, The Deep End, Boston Public, Malcolm in the Middle, Drake & Josh, CSI: Miami, Quintuplets, Summerland, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, Ugly Betty, ER, Life, Hellcats, and Secret Girlfriend. In addition to her television work, Kate has also appeared in feature films, most notably playing Will Ferrell's mistress in the 2012 comedy film The Campaign. Other film credits include Fired Up, A Leading Man, and the indie horror flick Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. She is represented by Innovative Artists.

In 2012 Kate married musician Justin Miner.[1] Kate sings and plays mandolin in their band, Miner.[2]

Modeling career[edit]

Johnson has appeared in national campaigns for Gap Fit, Skechers, Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Zinc, Fabrizio Gianni, and DKNY. She is represented by Two Model Management [3] in Los Angeles.
