Kattivakkam (Tamil: கத்திவாக்கம்) is a town and a municipality in Thiruvallur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Kattivakkam had a population of 32,556. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kattivakkam has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 64%. In Kattivakkam, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

E.T.P.S. Matriculation School is managed by "Ennore Thermal Power Station" under State government. This school is running it's 30 year successfully on "2011", well trained teachers and staff. Good school environment in side the campus.
