Kazuno (鹿角市 Kazuno-shi?) is a city located in Akita, Japan.

As of January 31, 2012, the city has an estimated population of 34,809, with 13,359 households, and the density of 49.21 persons per km². The total area is 707.34 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1972.

Kazuno Bob-dancing event, as part of summer festival in Akita Prefecture, which held on Lunner Bon Period of August.[citation needed]
