Keekorok
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Keekorok Lodge erected in the direct path of the wildebeest migration was the first lodge built in the Masai Mara. At the height of migration, Keekorok Lodge is surrounded by a swarming mass of animals, and there is hardly any need to go on a game drive. Accommodation comprises stone built bungalows with private balconies. All with on suite bathrooms. They are 89 standard rooms, 8 superior rooms, 4 suites. The liberal use of cedar wood, pink and gray Sand River stone, and other indigenous building materials offset the green lawns and colorful bougainvillea.
