Keith Uddin (born 24 February 1979 in London, England), also known as KU, is a songwriter and record producer/engineer. Keith Uddin has had 78 consecutive top 20 singles & albums, as a producer/engineer and/or writer, worldwide, so far this Century, and 42 of those singles and albums went to No1. Amongst the many artists he’s written, produced, engineered for during this period are The Cure,[1] Nick Cave,[2] Madonna, No Doubt[2] (17 million sales), Bjork[2] (Over 35 million sales), Blue, Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson, Simon Webbe, Kate Winslet, Melanie C.

Since he started producing & writing 10 years ago Uddin has been associated with a total of 136 worldwide Top 40 singles and albums and 50 of those went to No1. Other artists included here are, Oasis, Eagle Eye Cherry, Five, Vanessa-Mae, Vanessa Amorosi & Spice Girls.

Keith Uddin is considered as one of the best young producer/mixers in Rock/Pop/Indie music today, and is one half of 'The Dream Team' awarded at the Miami Ultra Music festival 2007. Keith has engineered/mixed some of the most successful recordings from No Doubt's “Rocksteady” to Nick Cave's ”Nocturama" and his work has sold in excess of one hundred million records, equaling over one billion dollars in sales.

In 2008 Uddin produced The Cure on their 13th studio album 4:13 Dream which topped the Billboard 200 charts in October 2008 and on Friendly Fires release Friendly Fires (album) 2008.

Most recently it was reported in Keyboard magazine that Keith Uddin was working with Michael Jackson putting together the show for Michael's sold out "This Is It" tour at the O2 Arena. A quote from the Keyboard Magazine article reads; Keith Uddin, Record Producer/Mixer who has twirled the knobs for No Doubt, The Cure, Bono and many other artists — Keith dropped everything for the Michael Jackson gig. Keith kept track of everything in “keyboard world,” and was a true beacon standing in the middle of all the craziness that surrounded this gig.[citation needed]
