Kelly Kobold (February 25, 1983) is an American female mixed martial artist. She began her training in June 2002, having had no previous martial arts experience. Her mixed martial arts record is 16-3-1. She lives in the Minneapolis area and formerly trained with the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. She is now part of Team Bison.

In addition to her MMA success, Kobold also plays tackle/defensive end for the Minnesota Valkyrie of the Lingerie Football League. [1]

Kobold faced Adrienna Jenkins at NFF - The Breakout on March 10, 2007. She won the fight by verbal submission in the first round.[2]

She faced Tara LaRosa at BodogFight - Alvarez vs. Lee on July 14, 2007 for the BodogFight Women's Bantamweight Championship. She lost the fight by armbar submission in the fourth round.[3]

Kobold faced Julie Kedzie at BodogFight - Vancouver on August 24, 2007. She lost the fight by unanimous decision.[4]

She faced Gina Carano at EliteXC: Heat on October 4, 2008. Kobold lost the fight by unanimous decision.[5]

Kobold faced Pipi Taylor at Brutaal Fight Night - Owatonna on April 15, 2011. She won via armbar submission in the firstround.[6]

Kobold has agreed to face Shayna Baszler in a rematch at Cage Fighting Xtreme: Spring Brawl on April 21, 2012.[7]

On June 10, 2011, it was announced that Kobold had made the final roster for the Minnesota Valkyrie of the Lingerie Football League for their inaugural 2011-12 season.[1]
