Kelly K. Nolan was a University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student who disappeared on June 23, 2007 from downtown Madison, Wisconsin.[1] Her body was later discovered in a field south of Madison.

Kelly Nolan disappeared after leaving Amy's Café in downtown Madison, Wisconsin at 11:30 p.m. with a staff member of the bar who said that he later passed her off to a man claiming to be a friend of hers. The following morning she was reported missing.[2]

Nolan's body was found on Monday July 9, 2007, in the Town of Dunn, about 11 miles south of Madison.[3][4]

The search for Kelly Nolan gained notability when many national news organizations picked up the story.[5][6][7][8] Fox News, for example, dedicated a portion of their airtime on July 9, 2007, as breaking news following the police search of Dunn.

Because of the nature of Nolan's death, the death is being treated as a homicide. The Madison Police Department have no suspects. The Nolan family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for the crime.[9][10] The Madison Police Department has also offered a reward of $10,000.00 for information leading to the person responsible for her murder.[11][12] A third reward has been set up by the Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation[13] in the amount of $5,000.00.

On July 21, 2007, a funeral for Nolan took place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Waunakee, Wisconsin.[14] Hundreds of people attended her funeral.
