Kenpei to Barabara Shibijin (憲兵とバラバラ死美人?, "The Military Policeman and the Dismembered Beauty") is a 1957 black-and-white Japanese horror film directed by Kyotaro Namiki.

Legacy[edit]

The film is perhaps well-known because one of its association with the SNES game Earthbound. Its creator, Shegesato Itoi, mistook a murder scene for a rape scene, inspiring the eerie presence of the game. [2][3]
