The Kerala Bhasha Institute in India was established on March 11, 1968 as a part of the fourth five-year plan. This prestigious institution is unique in the services it provides[citation needed] and has contributed a lot in the field of language and literature. The institute aims at delivering the progress in modern knowledge to Malayalam, making the knowledge of science and technology accessible to the common people and preparing and publishing authentic books in university level.
