Kerur (Kannada ಕೆರೂರ) is a panchayat town in Bagalkot district in Karnataka. It has an average elevation of 617 metres (2024 feet).

As of the 2001 census, the town had a population of 17,206. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Kerura has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 48%. 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
