Kevin R. Spidel[1] is a political consultant and a social media consultant. In 2004 he was the National Field Director for Dennis Kucinich for President campaign. He left to become the the co-founder and national deputy director of Progressive Democrats of America. He also was on the executive staff at Amnesty International in Washington, DC[2] leading the "Denounce Torture" campaign. He has previously worked with the ACLU and the Hip Hop Caucus.
In 2006 he was the campaign manager for Christine Cegelis' bid for U.S. Congress.[3]
Since then, he has worked for Gannett leading social media efforts within GannettLocal. He currently works for Village Voice Media as the Director for UGC and Social Media.
